Mindfulness Training Testimonials

We were fortunate enough to have a virtual staff mindfulness training with Jen a few weeks ago. As the owners and hands-on operators of a restaurant, we carry a lot of stress on a daily basis- especially in the last two + years.  We see our team struggle with issues of anxiety on a daily, even hourly basis. It was incredible to have a very technique based lesson with Jen that addressed the biological/ psychological symptoms and manifestations of unregulated stress and anxiety.  I learned so many little “exercises” that add up to an empowering outlook I still carry with me weeks after the training. I know the staff who joined that day also feel the same way and the ones that missed it caught up via the zoom link we had access to for a few weeks after. I see them practicing these techniques often and feel more articulate about their internal life. Naming the problem is half the battle! Highly recommend for teams of all sizes!
–Cheetie Kumar, Owner, Garland Raleigh

My team just finished an overview of Mindful Journaling for Resilience with Jen.  I cannot recommend it enough!  Jen brings creativity, science, and practicality together to offer strategies on how to use mindfulness and neuroscience to create effective journaling practices.  Her warm and compassionate style were well received by my team.

This was one of the best brief trainings/workshops I have been to. It was the perfect blend of practice, research and theory. Magnificent! Thank you! –Caroline H.

I highly recommend this workshop for everybody. Jen Johnson is a wonderful leader and made me feel very comfortable. I am glad I came.–M.G.

I came away from this seminar with a strong desire to continue investigating mindfulness, self-compassion, and meditation. I felt instant relief and excitement about the prospects. –Sandra Elliott
